Featuring a distinctive purple ribbon with a green centre stripe, this ribbon denotes service in a number of British military operations from 1918 to 1962.
Rather than issuing a separate medal for each campaign, clasps were added to recognise service in specific operations. This allowed the medal to reflect an individual's service across a range of military deployments.
Thank you to everyone who took part. The winner of the £20 store credit will be announced on the last Week of the month.
